Axes chop wood; pickaxes mine stone and ore. Clubs, spears, blades and bows offer different combat styles. Armour occupies head, chest, shoulders and arms; charms occupy their own slot. The lute is an instrument. A torch is carried gear and uses club attacks.

Crafted gear can be Crude, Common, Good, Fine or Masterwork. Catalog statistics are Common-quality base definitions. Actual results also depend on quality, upgrade level, skills, perks and combat conditions.

Eligible equipment can be upgraded up to +3. Each level multiplies the quality-adjusted damage, armour and gathering stats by an additional 10% of their +0 value. Maximum durability is multiplied by 1 + 0.25 × level after its quality adjustment; attack speed uses a smaller bonus. Each equipment page includes the full quality-by-level tables. Workbench and forge extensions unlock the higher station levels. Iron-bar equipment is worked at the forge; other ordinary gear at the workbench. Charms, unique found gear and instruments cannot be upgraded.

Durability falls through use. Broken equipment needs repair at the appropriate station. A burned-out torch can be rekindled at a workbench.
